Welcome to New Zealands best Genealogy Branch and Website.

Dunedin Branch New Zealand Genealogists

We are a group of almost 300 genealogists and family historians who meet regularly to:

Enjoy and share our family and historical interest with fellow genealogists.

Help each other with research both formally and informally. We provide many local and overseas
  resources to facilitate research.

Provide opportunities for development of genealogical skills and studies through meetings and
workshops including computer and internet sessions.

Record and preserve local records and information – many members assist in indexing and
transcribing records: eg cemetery headstones, police gazettes, school rolls etc

Meetings will be held in the King Edward Court, first Wednesday of the month from February 2010 unless otherwise notified. Starting time 7 pm, but doors are open from 6.30 until 9.30 for research.

NZSG Dunedin Branch Library at OSM: open hours Thursday and Sunday 1 – 4pm only until the end of Nov.
